Update from Antigua

  • 4
There is obviously so so much to tell, but I will stick to the bare bones for now...

We have:
Helped build houses
Torn down a shed
Dug a sweet hole
Mixed concrete
Visited two orphanages, one of them for handicapped kids
Watched our friend Mark do his street-witnessing
Met twenty-something new friends on something called "The World Race"
Tried to avoid drinking the water
Been eating authentic Guatemalan food
Extensively used the public transportation system (Chici-bus!!!)

One great snapshot from today (no context provided): Me riding in a truck with two Guatemalans who speak no English. We are driving down the streets of Antigua laughing and dancing to KC and the Sunshine Band, which is cranked in the truck's not-so-great sound system... Awesome. Wish I had it on video.

More to come! God is really moving here...

It is good to know that there are people such as yourself who are willing to go out and share the gospel.

Keep fighting the good fight of faith!
